Comprehensive Assessment Process

Evaluations are tailored by age and goal, and include at least three internationally recognized tests used by the American Psychiatric Association, administered by our clinical psychologist.

An evaluation typically takes 3–5 hours across three sessions, with one session held with the child at the centre.

The remaining sessions may be in person or online and cover intellectual ability, behaviour patterns, independent functioning, and daily living skills.

Families receive a detailed report with results, implications, and personalized recommendations for support.

A multifaceted approach with intervention plans tailored to each child’s needs — using one-on-one and small-group instruction, written and verbal work, and computer-based practice. Focus stays on skills, not just content.

Sessions use clearly defined goals and strategies, including fine and gross motor activities that fit into the child’s daily routine.

Techniques that strengthen communication — including articulation therapy, language intervention, and approaches matched to each speech or language need.

Structured support for children with autism that builds positive social skills and reduces maladaptive behaviours through predictable, visually organized activities.

Outcomes improve when parents use the same approaches at home — which we reinforce in parent counselling.

OT builds cognitive, physical, social, and motor skills so children can participate more independently in everyday life — including play, learning strategies, self-care, and sensory regulation.

After evaluating how a child learns, plays, cares for themselves, and interacts with their environment, the therapist sets goals such as dressing, eating, grooming, toileting, and fine motor skills like writing and cutting.

Sessions usually last 30–60 minutes; frequency depends on individual needs.

Play therapy for children with ASD that supports social and emotional skills, flexible thinking, communication, and richer ways of relating through play — especially powerful as early intervention.
